The only thing you have to modify is the part in the parentheses. You can call this anything you want, but we recommend naming it after the name of the page and the object separated by a forward slash (as shown above).

If you want to track clicks on an anchor tag it might look like this:

The class=”notrack” attribute is not necessary unless you are tracking an anchor tag and can be omitted in the unlikely case that you are trying to track another type of object.

Once you have added this code to the object you want to track clicks of, you will see those events show up as events in your data and you’ll be able to create goals and sort your data based on successful completion of the event. Please let us know if you have any questions or need help with tracking custom events.

To activate your custom segment, click on Filters > Segments and select your segment. Click “Set Filters” and your segment will be applied.

1. Click the “Manage Accounts” icon on the top right of your screen, just to the right of the “Filters” menu.

2. Under “Web Analytics Tools”, choose “Link Tag Builder.”

3. Choose whether your website uses the http or https (secure) protocol.
4. Fill in the form information. Note that the first three fields are required. Examples are given on the side, but let’s go over each one to make sure:
   • Webpage Domain and Path: The destination URL which you have designated to be your Landing Page for your ad. The Landing Page is the first webpage of your site that visitors who click on your ad will be brought to.
   • Network Name: The ad network that your ad is running on. Choose one of the four in the example to the right. For help with other networks, contact support@lytiks.com
   • Network Type:
     1. Display = Image ad running on a display network. This will come up as PaidReferral in your Lytiks Traffic Report.
     2. Search = Text ad running on a search network. This will come up as PaidSearch in your Lytiks Traffic Report.
     3. Email = An email blast from yourself or using an email marketing tool. This will come up as Email in your Lytiks Traffic Report.
   • Ad Type: Your ad type can be designated as an image, text, or email. This is useful for custom segmentation.
   • Ad Name: The name of the ad that you’re adding this tagged link to. This allows you to see which ad visitors clicked to come through to your site if you are running multiple ads.
   • Ad Size: The size of the ad. This allows you to see what ad sizes are performing well by seeing which ones lead visitors to your site or perform actions.
   • Campaign Name: The name of the campaign that your ad is running on. This can be used to very effectively segment your data by campaign to compare their respective performances.
5. Click the “Generate” button, and your link tag will appear in the box below. Enter this as your destination URL or link for your ad, and you’re good to go!

2. Under “Call Tracking Tools,” choose “Order New Phone Numbers.”

3. You will see a list of all the phone numbers you have. Choose the one you would like to cancel by clicking on its name or number.

4. Click “Cancel Number” at the bottom of the Manage Phone Number page.

5. Choose one of three options:

• Cancel but keep
• Cancel completely
• Don’t do anything

6. You’re all set.

2. Under “Call Tracking Tools,” choose “Manage Phone Numbers.”

3. You will see a list of all the phone numbers you have. Choose the one you would like to manage/edit by clicking on its name or number.

4. Once you click on the phone number, you can see all the settings associated with it. You can change the name or description of the phone number by typing in the corresponding box and clicking “Save Phone Details” when you are done.

5. You can also change the behavior of the phone number. This includes the phone number to which it forwards. Write the new number in the “Destination Number” box. Click “Update Forwarding Number” to save the changes. The forwarding becomes active instantaneously.

6. In addition, select the type of Greeting from the drop-down menu. This is the greeting that indicates that the phone call is being recorded for quality assurance purposes.

7. To change whether the phone calls to this number are recorded or not, click on the icon of headphones. It will change from red to black depending on whether the recording status. This feature allows you to gain further information about the quality of the inbound calls.

8. Finally, you can enter a caller ID override. This is the number/code which will be displayed as the caller ID on your company’s phone machines when there is an incoming call to the number being managed. This makes it easier to predict what the phone call is about and to respond accordingly by forwarding it to the right person in the company or by providing the appropriate information. Generally, you should make up a system of codes to use for caller ID override. Click “Update Caller ID” to save it.

9. You can also cancel a number in a few seconds. Just click “Cancel Number” at the bottom of the Manage Phone Number (xxx) xxx-xxx page.
